Registration Instructions.
1. Print out registration form and fill in campers information.
2. Send registration form and deposit for first two weeks to Discovery School 323 S. Grant, Spokane, WA 99202.
3. After receiving registration form and deposit you will receive a packet that contains medical information form that needs to be turned in before the first day of camp.

Science Camp - A real hands-on science week with exciting experiments in geology, archaeology, chemistry, and ecosystems. Build an observation chamber to perform your own experiments at home. Grades 3-6
Leadership Camp - Designed for pre-teens to develop communication and decision-making skills needed to work together in group situations while still maintaining their own identities. Grades 6-8

Spanish Camp - Submerge yourself in español and the Latin culture. Food, history, skits, games, and, of course, a fiesta. So much fun you’ll need a siesta. Grades 3-6

Kick n' Fun - A week of introduction to Karate that focuses on fun and personal safety. Campers will be introduced to the 5 aspects of fitness: mental, emotional, perceptual, physical, and spiritual. Grades K-2

Lego Engineering Challenge Camp - First Lego League Challenges. Each day you will design a robotic vehicle to meet program challenges while incorporating new skill sets into each design. Grades 2-6
Cooking - Bring your appetite as you mix cooking and science. Experiment what happens when different ingredients get mixed together, and how recipes get created while you practice basic cooking skills. Grades 3-6

Spanish Camp - Spend the week studying Latin culture and español. Build a market with your own goods to buy and sell, while practicing your vocabulary and negotiation skills. Celebrate with a fiesta. Grades 2-4

Video Camp - Learn how to operate a digital video camera and edit movies on the computer with iMovie. You will create a real video project for a client as part of a four-person team. Grades 5-8

Crazy Crafts -Come join us for exciting crafts like mosaic planters, lion masks, and many other unique ideas that will be fun to make and fun to keep! Grades 3-6
Harry Potter Week - Dive into the Harry Potter Books by creating creatures, food, and magic of your own. Week will culminate with an “end-of-term” feast. Must have all of the Harry Potter Books. Grades 3-6

Summer Camp Calendar

The week-long summer camps will take place at Discovery School, 323 South Grant Street. The hours will be 10am-3pm each weekday, except for Video Camp (12:30 - 3:30 pm). Extended care is available 7am to 6pm. Costs for most camps are $90/week for 10-3. A couple of the camps will have supply or trip fees. Before Card is $20 additional for the week and After Care is $20 additional for the week. There is a one time registration fee of $25 that includes a t-shirt and water bottle. If registering before May 15, the $25 registration fee will be waived.

An all day summer preschool program will be available. The program will be located in our current preschool classroom. Preschoolers will join the rest of the campers after 3 pm. Children will have an opportunity to explore summer topics like water, sun, and play. Cost of the program: $150 for 8am - 3 pm per week; $180 for 8am - 5pm per week. You will be charged for the actual weekds your child attends. You will be able to take vacations and not be punished. Must have a minimum of 8 children per camp to run program. Register Early!
